Our Farm and Facilities

In the Heart of the Berkshires

Roberts Woods Farm is a non-profit educational facility owned and operated by Marc and Kathryn Roberts. It is located down a country lane in Monterey, Massachusetts. The farm’s facility includes a barn, indoor arena, private pond, gardens and numerous riding trails. There are over half a dozen Icelandic horses who call Roberts Woods Farm home, as do a number of dogs, cats and pigs.

Roberts Woods Farm has miles of split rail fences, stone walls, and scenic pastures, lovely gardens and a regulation dressage arena.

Guests are greeted by Nemo, a Bernese Mountain Dog, kissed by Daphne, an Icelandic Sheepdog, and begged for a treat by Emily, the Golden Retriever, while Zeus, the Golden Doodle, cavorts in the background.

The horses are especially friendly to humans and all the equine members of the herd. It is not unusual to find four or five gathered in one stall. They also love to graze and roll in the sunshine.
