Our Horses
Meet our Icelandics
Hátíð (How-teeth) is a 24-year-old dark bay mare. She has produced many wonderful foals. In fact, she is a grandmother. Although her face is dappled with gray, she still loves to gallop up the rolling hills.
Álfgrímur (Artie)has arrived from Iceland. He is a big dark bay who has served as a farm horse and as the steed of an opera singer. He is utterly calm under any circumstances. We all love him
Kárína and Snilldare working moms now in our programs. They are great horses, especially with beginning or vintage riders. Their babies, Cleo (Karina) and Baby Em (Snilld) are finding their place in the herd.
Our newest horses include Nos and Fidla, beautiful chestnut mares, who promise to do their best at trail riding, lessons, and even competition and showing.
Sunna, who seems to be a reincarnation of Tinker Bell, guards over the visiting big horses, Corina, a thoroughbred, and Mr. Stubbs, a quarter horse.
The sire Glitfaxiis the beautiful dapple who watches over his family from a distant field.
He is well trained and a real gentleman on trail rides.
